Worry looks best in the rear-view mirror
Feb. 26th, 2006 10:31 pmAfter worrying a lot about this weekend, things turned out great. My first Franklin Institute workshop of the semester was a blast; turns out this is the best group of Community Center staffers I've had yet, enthusiastic and curious. They were making extensions to the workshop even as they were learning it -- I'm suddenly looking forward a lot to the five more Saturday sessions we'll have together.
And I was at least able to make some progress on the larger project, a demonstration I'm going to create for the Institute, on "Cartoon Physics". It's very different from things I've done before, and it's still not clear exactly what's feasible technically and theatrically, but at least I got my thoughts together in enough of a coherent order to write the outline/sketch that was due Saturday. Tomorrow I'll have a meeting to see if my ideas are anything close to what they want from me....
...But mostly I just posted this LJ entry to show off the new userpic.
