Philadelphia expertise wanted

I'm putting together a proposal for a Swarthmore alumni cookout a month from now, both as a get-to-know-other alumni socializer and as a brainstorming session so we can discuss ideas for future alumni events. I'm currently stumped for where to do it; can you help? I'm looking for a location that has one or more barbecue grills in a public location that's not far from a SEPTA station. I know there are all sorts of large and small parks around Philadelphia but I have no clue which ones have grills in them, nor how to reserve one. Anyone know about stations along the Chestnut Hill lines, for instance?

As a last resort I could use the ones in Little Crum Creek Park, but I'm hoping to find a location farther from Swat.
